A company founded by technocrats from IIT- Bombay, Newreka, is an expression of their passion for Nature. It is hard to believe that the whole idea of Newreka came from a hostel room in 1998 over a debate on the chemicals industry’s view of pollution as something that needs to be controlled, while it should be prevented by recycling at source. When the technocrats decided to use their expertise in chemistry and make the world a cleaner and greener place… Newreka was born. The name is a combination of “Nature’s Enthusiastic World” and “Eureka”, the ancient Greek word to celebrate discovery. From its modest beginnings as a consultancy, the company now transformed into an award winning enviropreneur! A team of 50 Green Chemists and Green Chemical Engineers take Newreka a step above the rest…

Newreka is committed to reduce the E-factor by the order of magnitude and recycle at source of reaction and extraction medium over 100 times. The company also helps create an ecosystem for every chemist and chemical engineer to arise as an Enviropreneur, and deliver Green Chemistry principles’ promises through powerful partnership with customers and all other stakeholders of Chemical Industry.
